Does it hurt?
A tooth gem treatment is generally not painful, because: The tooth is not drilled or damaged. The jewelry is attached to the tooth surface with a special dental glue (composite glue). You may feel slight pressure or cold air during tooth cleaning.
How long does a tooth gem last?
A tooth gem can last from 2 weeks to 1.5 years, depending on various factors. How long the jewelry stays depends on:
- Mouth pH: a stable, not too acidic mouth helps maintain the bond longer.
- Oral hygiene: careful brushing and not scratching or biting on the gem extends durability.
- Don't touch the gem and don't play with it.
Is it safe for my teeth?
Yes, absolutely. We only use safe, tooth-friendly materials and work with care and precision. The placement has no negative effect on the health of your teeth.
What happens if it comes loose?
If a tooth gem comes loose: Within the first 2 weeks (guarantee period): the gem is replaced free of charge. If it comes loose again within 2 weeks after that: you get a refund.
Is there an age limit?
Tooth gems are for all ages, our youngest client is 5 years old and the oldest client is in their 70s.
